Contractor and Trade License
The City of Lawrence requires certain contractors and trademens obtain a license to perform work within the City limits. The purpose of licensing is to ensure construction activities are performed by fully qualified and licensed contractors and trademen to provide quality construction in Lawrence. Contractor licensing will ensure contractors are appropriately insured and provide worker compensation for their employees.
